This body of work shows the influence of the painterly process. The properties of oil stick, soft graphite, acrylic and oil paint guide my physical act of making a mark. Often time's one action on the surface may be negated by a second action. I try to merge drawing and painting until the physical mark crumbles due to an "overload" of medium.
